Klitzekleine "Best of German Riesling Probe"

hallo,

auf nachfrage habe ich die tage mit internationalen forscherkollegen (ca. 15 leute aus usa, finnland, schweden, england und deutschland) bei einem treffen in jena ein weintasting zu deutschem wein mitorganisiert. allgemeine vorgabe war deutscher riesling um die 15 euro (restsüss und trocken). ich habe komplett bei lobenberg bestellt und mich auf 2010 und 2011 konzentriert. dazu gab es zwei deutsche spätburgunder (falls jemand keinen weisswein mag - you never know!). ich dachte, wenn jemand einen eindruck vom deutschen winzerkönnen heute kriegen möchte, dann sollte man zuerst auf riesling (trocken und restsüss) und spätburgunder schauen.

ich poste einfach mal meine (englisch-sprachige) weinliste wie ich sie zum tasting als einstimmung an die leute verteilt habe:

interessant bei dem feedback der leute war für mich folgendes:

die allermeisten konnten mit den restsüssen rieslingen weniger anfangen als mit den trockenen.

tasting-sieger bei den leuten waren fast einhellig der dönnhoff und der keller wein. während der dönnhoff riesling die typischen faszinierend leichten, cremigen und verspielten noten aufwies, hatte der keller riesling etwas "magisches" und tiefergehendes an sich. gespalten waren die meinungen vor allem beim clüsserath. manche konnte überhaupt nichts damit anfangen (ich z.b.) und für andere war er der gefälligste wein.

bei den spätburgundern war klar der becker vorn auf.

insgesamt waren die leute wirklich begeistert und man traf sich in kleinerer gruppe am nächsten abend gleich nochmal, um die reste in den flaschen zu leeren. dabei ging es wieder vor allem um den dönnhoff und den keller riesling.

Hey, ich hoffe es kommt noch mehr. Mich interessiert einiges, eigentlich alles von der Probe. Vor allem aber Im Moment der Kabinett Lieser 2011 trocken. Der 2010ner war einfach genial. Den 2009ner habe ich in einer extrem hefigen Phase erwischt. Vor allem interessiert mich, wie es beim 2011er Lieser mit der Säure aussieht. Am liebsten alle VKN´s der Verkoster zum Lieser. Man kann den Hals ja nie voll genug kriegen

das waren alles keine weinfreaks und haben sich dementsprechend keine notizen gemacht. beim lieser erinnere ich noch eine etwas nichtssagende art, wo ausdruck und struktur etwas fehlten. zur säure habe ich hier keine besonderen erinnerungen - eher ein "angepasster" wein.

ps: habe meine notizen zum fritz haag, zum ziereisen und becker in den jeweiligen threads hier im forum gepostet. habe leider keine anderen notizen wegen zeitproblemen machen können (wäre irgendwie unhöflich auf der probe gewesen). aber der dönnhoff und der keller waren auch für mich klar vorn - das war eine ganz eigene liga, natürlich neben dem fritz haag.

Der von der Fels 2010 von Keller ist sicher eine Ansage, mit der Aussage nichtssagend bei Lieser, wäre ich vorsichtig, auch wenn ich 2011 noch nicht probiert habe. Lieser Weine sind was für Fräulein Smillas Gespür für Schnee. Gut, dann gehe ich mal Deine Einträge unter Deutschland durch. Finde es bei solchen Proben allerdings für den Leser etwas praktischer alles in einen Thread zu packen. Ich werde mal unter Deutschland nachsehen, ob Du bei Weil eingeschlafen bist.
