Hi harti,
ja super, vielen Dank fuer deinen Eindruck!
Bei Farr Vintners sind sie auch ganz begeistert:
This 11 hectare property in Lalande de Pomerol is situated 1 km from the famous plateau of Pomerol, and is visible from the back door of Eglise Clinet. The Château was purchased in 2000 by Denis Durantou who ages the crop in 50% new oak and relegates fruit from the younger vines to his La Chenade label. Often better than many Pomerols and Saint Emilions that we taste, yet moderately priced thanks to the appellation. 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Grapes are selected from the best terroirs of the vineyard - clay soils similar to those on the plateau of Pomerol. A wine that always reminds us of a top Pomerol and in 2013 we are absolutely convinced that this is the best wine of the vintage that wil be sold at under £200 per case. This does not taste like a 2013 Bordeaux! Deep colour, rich, ripe and spicy on the nose with black cherry, dark chocolate, liquorice and nutmeg. Juicy and creamy on the palate, black cherries and cream with sweet vanilla and a fleshy texture. This wine is plush and of a quality to rival some of the top Pomerols this vintage. The finish is intense, long, sweet and ripe, a real achievement in 2013.
Score: 16.5
16/20pts (86/100pts)
Rarely fails. Attractive crushed red berry nose. Good depth of fruit. Long, fresh and satisfying.
Drink: 2017-2023
Du bist also in bester Gesellschaft!
Cheers,
Ollie
