bin auch mal wieder "on board"

Sotheby's bietet auch eine Subskription an. Die allgemeine Einschätzung ist nix Neues, außer
"Surprisingly, for all of us, there were a significant number of wines, from both the left and right banks, where we all felt that the property had made the best wine that we had ever tasted En Primeur."
2015 VINTAGE SUMMARY
There has been much excitement in Bordeaux surrounding the upcoming release of the 2015 vintage and the most frequent comments that we have heard are:
This is the best vintage since 2010 (of which there is no doubt)
But, not at the level of 2000, 2005, 2009 and 2010 (agreed)
We all agree on the following aspects of this vintage:
There are some : very good; great; and outstanding wines
There are some wines that are disappointing in the context of the vintage
2015 is a true "terroir" vintage: where the greatest vineyards produced some truly great wines
Below the greatest "terroirs", the vintage is much more erratic
There is a wonderful freshness to the most successful wines
Most wines should be attractive to drink relatively early and good over the medium term
Pomerol was the outstanding appellation, producing some truly exceptional wines and throughout all quality levels - this is a year to buy, savour and enjoy Pomerol, for all its succulence, richness and flamboyance
St Emilion was next best, followed by Margaux and Pessac-Léognan - all three appellations produced many great wines. Some wines in St Estèphe, Pauillac and St. Julien can lack weight, depth and succulence and appear a little dilute and light
For Serena, the sweetness of the great wines is the "wondrous" factor, never more strongly felt than in Pomerol. Quite unlike anything else she has seen in her decades of en primeur tasting.
Anticipated Pricing
The top château owners' know they made good wines and that there should be reasonable demand across all continents, so we expect prices to increase. By how much, will be dictated by the perceived quality of the wine, the popularity of the individual property and the owners ego and expectations.
We expect most châteaux to offer their wines at prices that should still be attractive for buyers. We also expect some château owners' to price their wines too high, as is always the case.
